Summer 2014 Events at the Museum of Seminole County History!
NEW! Paranormal Tour of the Museum--check out the locations where spiritual presences were recorded and learn of the museum's paranormal entities. A stop on the tour includes visiting the museum's basement. Oooo!

ALLIGATORS: DRAGONS IN PARADISE--Special Summer Exhibit from June 3 to August 30. Learn about the role of Alligators, the State Reptile, in Florida's history and culture from Native American god to vilified predator. FREE with general admission.
"Can Alligators and Humans Co-Exist?" Special Lecture by Florida Fish and Wildlife Alligator expert, date to be announced. Discusses how biology and history of the alligator has shaped its future in Central Florida.
Sat. Aug. 9, 10 AM. FOR THE KIDS: Meet a Baby 'Gator with Rhett Stanberry. Fun activities for children to teach them new respect for the alligator. With museum admission.
Thurs. Aug. 14, 7 pm. Seminole County Historical Society's Quarterly Meeting with speaker Dr. Walter Scudder who will present "Scientific Innovations at Sanford's UF Experimental Station." In the 1940's the Experimental Station was at the cutting edge of agricultural investigation and experimentation.
